About Sarah-Rose
My work traces memory, displacement, and hybrid identities across intergenerational histories between Europe and Lebanon. I first trained as a journalist at Goldsmiths, University of London, before completing an MA in Photography & Society at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague.
Moving between photography, vernacular archives, and performance, my practice often begins with personal histories and expands through found materials, conversations, and collaborative storytelling. I explore how identities shaped by language, religion, and national belonging emerge not only through conflict and displacement, but also through everyday acts of remembering, imagining, and connecting across distance.
