"City Tales" is a video project produced over a year in Beirut, Lebanon.
Documenting the city in 2021, when the capital felt on hold but with a careful glance, was and is still changing rapidly at a crushing intensity, I intended to capture a metamorphosing city, fragmented yet recognisably singular during a time of crisis.
"City Tales" is a collection of six different neighbourhoods crafted as an itinerary across the vibrant, buzzing streets of the capital. I intended to capture the daily life in Beirut by recording the sound, the people, and the emotional weight some moments can hold.
